haVE QUESTIONS?

Yes and Yes.

When you work as a VA or Online Service Provider, you determine what services and tasks you offer. You also determine how many hours per week/month you are willing to work, and you set your own rates.

Being a VA, you can choose whether you have one client or multiple clients...and you choose who those clients are.

Ultimately YOU get to choose the work and projects you take on...and YOU get to choose how many hours you want to work (therefore how many hours you get paid for

HOw much do VA's typically make per hour?

It depends on your experience, skill set, and the services you offer. However, general administration VAs make between $20-$30 per hour. If you do more specialized work (graphic design, web design, content planning, accounting, copywriting, etc) you can charge $30-$50 and OBMs can charge more than that. I have former clients who make 6 figures working as online service providers - some charging over $100/hour.

You set your own rates, so if you feel confident you deserve more, then charge more. For the right person and service, businesses will pay as there is SO MUCH VALUE to businesses in hiring a freelancer (i.e. VA) compared to a full-time employee.

OSP = Online Service Provider (an umbrella term for anyone who offers a service online).

Some popular examples of OSPs:
1) VA (Virtual Assistant)
2) OBM (Online Business Manager)
3) SMM (Social Media Manager)

There are slight differences between each OSP - what they do and how much they can make. To help you better understand I developed a beginners guide to the OSP world!
